What is power tailgate lift kits?
The intelligent electric tailgate lift kit can open, close and lock
the luggage electrically, which can be triggered by key fob, the
switch button at the trunk, the switch in the cab, the foot sensor

The method of opening power liftgate:
1. Pressing the vehicle's tailgate opening key.
The opening and closing of the tailgate can be achieved by pressing
the tailgate opening key on the dashboard or tailgate of the
vehicle.
2.The original car fobs.
The open/close operation of the tailgate is realized by the
unlock/lock key on the original car fobs.
3. Induction operation. Place your hands or foot on the
corresponding sensing area of the tailgate to automatically open
the tailgate.
Safety:
1.Qualified electric tailgate products should have the function of
intelligent detection of obstacles and emergency braking. When the
tailgate is opened, obstacles can be induced and the trunk door
will automatically retracted to avoid burning out the motor. When
closing, the trunk door will bounce back automatically to avoid

Q3. Will the tailgate lift system fit a US 2016 Ford Edge Limited
or does it only fit a 2017 Edge?
A:Year is for reference only, this is due to a fact that even the
same car has different year ranges in different country. In your
case we need to check the fitness with photos of original pole
brackets(both ends), and general look of the original poles. |
Q4.Can I install it without interfering with the warranty on my
vehicle?
A. Our Power Tailgate system is plug and play, it does not require
to cut any wires so won’t void your warranty in most of case.
However, for some cars without factory reserved holes to mount the
control button, you may want to drill a hole in order to place it
nicely, the drill is included. |
Q5:Any change to the dash or original parts?
A. Some models may require drill holes for control button if the
car do not have the reserved holes. Otherwise your car is kept
untouched. |
